PE
At our school, Physical Education is a fun, active and inclusive subject that encourages all children to develop confidence, coordination and a lifelong love of being active. Linked to the National Curriculum, our PE curriculum helps children build fundamental movement skills, teamwork and resilience through a wide range of engaging activities, games and challenges. In EYFS, learning is supported through the Physical Development area of the EYFS Framework, where children explore movement, balance, control and coordination through play-based and active learning experiences. We aim to make PE enjoyable and motivating for every child, helping them to stay healthy, work collaboratively and develop positive attitudes towards physical activity. Throughout the year, many opportunities are provided for children to take part in competitions and sporting events through Three Rivers & Watford School Sports Partnership.
